"Oxygen tank on the touchline"
By Revd. David Rivers
I would just like to add to this story by mentioning that those of us who replied to the personal column in The Times, ( I seem to remember writing in as a sprightly 80 year old, hoping for a grandfather role in midfield with oxygen tank available on the touchline) were written to personally by Graham and offered the best seats in the main stand for any home game of our choice.
I chose Liverpool, took a chum and we lost. But what the heck, it was the gesture that I valued and still tell the tale to disbelieving fans of other clubs, who clearly cannot comprehend either the genius of GT or what it means to be Watford.
